Two new building systems projects for Caverion in Germany

Caverion is launching two new building systems installation projects in Germany. In Hamburg, Caverion will install Heating and Cooling systems for Baufeld 60, a new building complex. The client in the project is Max Bögl Stiftung, and the contract is worth about EUR 2.1 million.

Baufeld 60 is located in one of Hamburg’s best locations and it will contain three 15-storey buildings with 94 apartments and commercial spaces. Baufeld 60 is designed by the awarded architectural office Richard Meier & Partners.

At the water plant Moos (Wasserwerk Moos) in Deggendorf, Caverion will install the Heating & Sanitation, Cooling and Ventilation systems. The client is Waldwasser and the value of the order is about EUR 1.3 million.

“We also use state-of-the-art building technology at the waterworks. We utilise heat from groundwater for the heating system. In summer the water will be used to cool the administration and processing buildings. Compliance with drinking water hygiene is another important point in the waterworks,” says Hartmut Hölzel, head of the Caverion office in Deggendorf.

Both projects are already ongoing and will continue until spring 2018. Max Bögl Stiftung belongs to Caverion’s real investors and developers segment and Waldwasser to Caverion’s public client segment.
