Charlotte Mecklenburg Library celebrates African American History Month in February

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library invites you to celebrate African American History Month with free programs, including author events, films, storytelling, and fun and educational activities for children and teens. We've also compiled valuable book lists, topic guides, and online resources so you can continue learning, exploring and having conversations about the moments and people that have shaped our collective past. These events and resources can also help those seeking historical context for the current issues and movements within our community.

See the lineup at cmlibrary.org/AAhistory2017 . Please note that some events require advance registration.
