New Providence, NJ – Chemetall has announced the launch of Oxsilan CR 100 Paint Pretreatment Wipes.  Developed with an environmentally-friendly technology, these lint-free cloths are metal-free, fluoride-free, and pH neutral.  The wipes, which are compatible with multiple substrates, provide enhanced paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.

OEM automotive body paint shops utilize Oxsilan CR 100 to pretreat sanded paint defect areas without the use of special primers. For general industries, the wipes can also be used to pretreat sanded paint imperfections without repeating the pretreatment process.

Oxsilan CR 100 wipes are conveniently available in rolls of 200 wipes or in boxes of 500 individually-packaged wipes.  The application process is simple and takes seconds: wipe the area to remove any residuals left from sanding, as well as to apply a thin Oxsilan film, and  allow the area to dry.

"Oxsilan CR 100 Wipes were engineered with the worker in mind," explained Julia Murray, Vice President of Technical Marketing.  "The simple application process and the composition of the wipes make them easy to use.  That user-friendliness, combined with the product's high performance, makes Oxsilan CR 100 Wipes the paint pretreatment of choice."
