BORG & BECK BRAKING CATALOGUE
New Range Gets Support Identity
Following the successful launch of its original equipment (OE) quality braking programme, Borg & Beck has provided further support with the introduction of a detailed product catalogue, which clearly sets out the information needed to ensure the correct identification of each component in the range.
Available now, the formidable publication consists of more than 1,500 pages and contains in excess of 3,600 application references, which provides the trade with a quality solution to every requirement they are realistically ever going to come across.
The comprehensive range includes 1,347 discs, which in the interest of safety for both motorists and workshops, Borg & Beck specifies in pairs, and 1,252 pad sets. It also encompasses 352 pad & shoe fitting kits, 439 brake shoes and 213 brake drums.
To assist with the sometimes tricky identification process, Borg & Beck has also included an image and the dimensions of every reference listed, which makes verifying the correct part quick and easy and means that time and money is not wasted by the factor having to send multiple parts for a particular application.
Commenting on the launch managing director, Dan Joyner said: “Providing the trade with an OE quality braking programme is only half the solution, the thing that completes the package is the means for the motor factor to be able to clearly and straightforwardly identify the right component for the job.
“With this catalogue, which is also available through our online Webcat – www.borgandbeck.co.uk
– our customers can do this with complete confidence, safe in the knowledge that they can supply the workshop with an OE quality product that matches anything available through the franchised dealer.
“The reintroduction of the Borg & Beck clutch programme in 2006 has been a great aftermarket success story and we are convinced that with the quality, range and support that is provided within the new braking programme, we have another fantastic opportunity for the trade and motorist alike.”
