Correction: Press viewing of The Cathedral of Stockholm (Storkyrkan)

On Thursday 29 April there will be a press viewing of The Cathedral of Stockholm (Storkyrkan) where the wedding of Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and Mr Daniel Westling will take place on 19 June. The church has been closed for refurbishment but will be reopened to the public on 2 May.
The Cathedral of Stockholm in the Old Town has been closed for 16 weeks because of renovation. The church will reopen to the public on 2 May and there will be an exclusive press viewing for the media on 29 April.
“From 2 may I hope that there will be many visitors wanting to view the newly renovated cathedral, but I hope they will also come to light a candle, pray and worship in the presence of God,” says Dean Åke Bonnier, one of four officiating at the royal wedding.
- For visitors wanting to see the historic and unique antiquities there will be an admission fee of SEK 40/ 4 EUROs.
- For individual devotions and services of worship there is no admission fee.
