Cimber Sterling – changes to management
Announcement no. 40 - 2011/12
10 February 2012
In view of Cimber Sterling’s vision to become Scandinavia’s leading regional
airline with primary focus on the ATR turbo-prop aircraft, Cimber Sterling has
decided to implement an organisational change to strengthen the company’s
special competencies in this field.
Captain Jørgen Nielsen has been appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO)
effective 13 February 2012. Jørgen Nielsen trained as an aircraft mechanic and
served as a fighter pilot (F-100/F-16) in the Royal Danish Air Force. Nielsen,
who has flown the ATR since 1986, has decades of experience in the airline
industry and Cimber Sterling, and from 1994 to 2009 he served as CEO of Cimber
Sterling Group A/S and Cimber Sterling A/S. Since the company’s flotation in
2009, Nielsen has been responsible for Business Development while also flying
the ATR as captain.
Jørgen Nielsen replaces outgoing COO Steen Neuchs, who will step down from his
position at Cimber Sterling as of 10 February 2012. Both the Board of Directors
and the Executive Board of Cimber Sterling wish to thank Steen Neuchs for his
efforts in the company’s service.

three members:
• Jan Palmer, President & CEO
• Martins Antonovics, CFO, Executive Vice President
