Cision wins “Product Development of the Year - Software” at the 2010 Data Publishers Association Awards
CisionPoint PR workflow software recognised for its continued innovation and commercial success
LONDON, 25 November, 2010 – Cision, the leading provider of software, services and tools for the media and public relations industry, has been awarded “Product Development of the Year - Software” at the 2010 Data Publishers Association (DPA) Awards for its CisionPoint PR workflow software.
CisionPoint is a software package which enables PR professionals to accurately identify influencers, organise target lists, distribute news, monitor coverage and analyse effectiveness. Its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality allows users to track and record all of media relations activities in one place.
The DPA Awards’ Product Development of the Year judges looked for innovative software that had generated commercial success in challenging market conditions and all 11 judges agreed that CisionPoint merited the award.
“The judges were unanimous in their decision that the winning CRM system demonstrated enormous innovation, helping users track the time they spent on client work, as well as enhancing project management performance and automating workflow,” said Jerry Gosney, Executive Director of the Data Publishers Association.
Tosh Bruce-Morgan, Managing Director of Cision UK, added: “We’re thrilled CisionPoint has been recognised for its continued innovation and this is credit to the team at Cision for its dedication in creating a product which delivers real value to our customers.”
Following a number of US wins for CisionPoint with the 2009 CODiE Award for “Best Online News Service” and the 2010 CODiE Award for the Cision Social Media Dashboard as “Best Social Media Aggregation Service”, the DPA Awards win represents its first European accolade.
