Dawn Conway appointed new Chief Operating Officer of Cision US
CHICAGO, August 15, 2013 – Cision has named Dawn Conway Chief Operating Officer for Cision US, a new position within the company. Conway was previously Executive Vice President, Customer Experience and Global Content Licensing.
“Dawn is an experienced and trusted leader with a proven track record for driving innovation and delivering results,” said Peter Granat, President and CEO. “I have tremendous confidence in her ability to lead strategic growth with a focus on customer experience at Cision.”
In her new role, Conway will be leading product, marketing, sales, analysis, finance and media research and will drive the overall strategic vision for the US business. She will continue to report directly to Granat.

Before joining Cision Conway was a Senior Vice President with LexisNexis. With over 20 years’ experience at LexisNexis, Dawn has held key management positions within sales, marketing, content licensing, business development and corporate responsibility. She is an attorney, current member of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, American Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers. She is the current Chairman of the content and copyright committee for the International Association for Measurement & Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) and a member of the advisory board for Womenetics, a globally recognized center of influence regarding gender, diversity and women’s leadership. She was previously a board member of the Content Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), which provides a forum for companies that publish and distribute online content or facilitate the licensing, presentation and distribution of digital information products.
