Clavister Expands R&D and Customer Support Teams as International Expansion Continues

Leading network security provider to grow research and development team by 50% as interest in solutions continues to intensify


Clavister (Nasdaq: CLAV), a leader in high-performance network security, is looking to expand its research and development team by 50% as it continues to see strong interest in its solutions internationally.

In addition to the strengthening of the research and development team, Clavister has also grown its Quality Assurance and Customer Support teams to extend its solution range, and meet the demands of its expanding enterprise and carrier level customer base.  The company has already significantly increased its R&D team this year, attracting leading talent from across the globe, with employees joining its Örnskoldsvik office in northern Sweden from Croatia, Brazil, Italy, Netherlands, France, Finland and Ethiopia.

Within its sales organization, Clavister recently appointed Stephan Schmidt to the position of EMEA Channel Manager. Schmidt will be responsible for developing Clavister’s channel strategy which has already seen success this year. The company has recently announced deployment with CNB (Coöperatieve Nederlandse Bloembollencentrale), the world’s largest authority in plant bulbs, through Dutch distributor BlackIP and an extension of its agreement with Croatian partner itSoft seeing the ISP offer Clavisters Security as a Service offering to its entire customer base.

In the past 12 months Clavister has secured new deals across the globe including new customer wins and partnerships in Brazil, Malaysia, Germany, Japan, America, Netherlands, Croatia, Turkey and Belgium. In 2015 the company has released new additions of its  next generation security gateways including the entry level W30 and the E80, a security gateway that delivers enterprise-class capacity, featuring a desktop form-factor, bringing unmatched price/performance capability to SME and branch office deployments.
