Company’s Subsidiary HempMeds® Mexico Begins Taking Private Orders for RSHO™ in Colombia, Showcases Products at Expo Mede Weed 2016 in City of Medellin
Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC: MJNA) announced today that its subsidiary HempMeds® Mexico, the first and only company with approval from COFEPRIS to legally import a cannabis product into Mexico, has begun distributing Real Scientific Hemp Oil™ (RSHO™) to Colombia.
This announcement comes at a pivotal time as the Colombian government re-evaluates its regulation of cannabis-based products and their medicinal attributes. HempMeds® Mexico joined the legislative discussion by attending and exhibiting the global headline-making RSHO™ at Expo Mede Weed 2016 in the city of Medellin.

The Company plans to work with Colombian regulatory authorities to continue to build distribution channels into Colombia and eventually open local operations in the country.
In addition to receiving the first orders from Colombia, HempMeds® Mexico exhibited at Expo Mede Weed in the city of Medellin. The two-day event featured cannabis industry panelists, speakers and exhibitors from around the world discussing cannabis legislation in the country and was attended by over 6,000 people.
