Borealis extends its collaboration with Coor regarding delivery of IFM (integrated facility management) services. The agreement is worth some SEK 100 m annually and runs from 1 April 2018.

The agreement implies that Coor will continue to develop and deliver integrated workplace and property services to Borealis’ some 1,000 staff in 140 buildings at the company’s Stenungsund plant. Borealis produces products including plastic compounds for pipe systems, power and communications cables and advanced packaging solutions.

“Borealis’ operations are carried out in a complex production environment that places high demands on quality, safety and the working environment. The fact that Coor has won this assignment shows that Coor’s service delivery quality assurance system meet the high demands made by heavy manufacturing industry operators. Our objective is to continue to develop our services alongside Borealis to create new innovative solutions for the service delivery,” commented Mikael Stöhr, President and CEO of Coor.

The services included in the new assignment are property maintenance, refurbishment and extension, recycling, reception, switchboard, mail management, restaurants, cleaning and security and surveillance. Coor’s proprietary services SmartDisplay, SmartResponse, SmartFlow and SmartUtilization are also included in the offering.
