Coor is extending its integrated facility management agreement (IFM) with GKN Aerospace in Trollhättan. The contract has an annual value of some SEK 110 M and is extended for 3+2 years.

The new agreement involves Coor coordinating, delivering and developing workplace and property services, as well as process maintenance, warehouse management, truck maintenance and internal transport services. A new area under the agreement is the delivery of restaurant services through the proprietary FOOD by Coor concept to GKN’s more than 2,000 employees in Trollhättan.

GKN is a leading supplier of components for aircraft and rocket engines for the global aerospace industry, and a leader in the manufacture of complex, rotating structures.

“Coor and GKN have developed a rewarding partnership over the years, and we’re pleased to be able to continue our work. GKN is a market leader in technology and development, and Coor is a leading operator in the service sector. The fact that we’re now starting to deliver restaurant services is another step towards taking our partnership to the next level,” commented AnnaCarin Grandin, CEO of Coor Sweden.

“The extension of the contract with GKN confirms our position as a market leader in integrated facility management in the Nordics. Coor’s ability to create customer value in this type of IFM assignments is documented, and the deal with GKN proves this, as do the new  and extended agreements with SAS, ABB and Telia Company,” commented Mikael Stöhr, President and CEO of Coor.
