Buckinghamshire company expands with new aesthetic training centre in the north of England

Cosmetic Courses, a Buckinghamshire based training company which teaches medical professionals how to administer Botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion and chemical peels, has expanded northwards.

The company, started in 2000 by Plastic Surgeon Adrian Richards, has its main office in leafy Princes Risborough, Bucks. There, a team of expert trainers offers a comprehensive programme of aesthetic training courses to medical professionals seeking to enter the cosmetic industry.

Now in response to growing demand for their courses from doctors, dentists and nurses in the north of England, they have decided to offer their first ever Botox training course in the centre of Manchester.

The company’s first Foundation Botox and Dermal Fillers course in Manchester takes place in June.

About the Course and Trainers

The course covers both the theory and practice of injecting Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers for aesthetic purposes. Trainers include Aesthetic Nurse Specialist Ruth Atkins RGN and Plastic Surgeon Demetrius Evriviades (pictured right), an expert in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery who has appeared on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies.

The training is being held at a clinic close to Manchester Central station (about a 5-minute taxi ride away), making it convenient for delegates choosing to travel by train. The course is being offered at a special introductory price of £600 + VAT - a saving of £50 on the usual price - which includes lunch, a comprehensive package of course literature, and a model if required.

Cosmetic Courses' founder and Surgical Director, Adrian Richards, says:

"We receive a lot of enquiries about our courses from people all around the country. Since I know first hand that medical professionals have many demands on their time, having to travel down south for a one-day course isn't ideal. The idea with this new course in Manchester is to bring our training closer to medical professionals in the north, and hopefully make it easier to fit into their busy schedules."
