House of Borel Premiering at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – February 17, 2015 – House of Borel, a San Francisco-based luxury fashion house, is premiering their line of bags in this years New York Fashion Week. In partnership with Michael Costello, the bags will walk the runway on February 17th in the Lincoln Center Salon.
The Executive Fashion Director at The House of Borel will be styling Costello’s show and curating the initial pieces on the runway for their fashion week debut. The bags are handmade in Italy, many of which are made from crocodile, anaconda, and ostrich casing.
The lifestyle brand was created by Claire Borel and her team in 2014. Focusing on unique, high quality pieces, the line creates a fully-rounded wardrobe perfect for travel. The accessories’ signature is turquoise, which appears in the lining of several bags. Borel describes her line as understatedly elegant.
Claire Borel started the line based on her memories of playing in her mother’s closet as a child. She fell in love with the clothes and always dreamed of starting her own line. The pieces are inspired by various locations around the world and the luxurious vacations of Grace Kelly.
Costello’s MVP-rated show attracted crowds last year and IMG expects above and beyond for this year. His clients include Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and others. Laverne Cox, Khloe Kardashian, and other celebrities are expected to attend.
The upcoming Fashion Week appearance with Costello marks their New York Fashion Week Debut. Products will be available online and in the House of Borel’s San Francisco showroom when the brand launches for the public on March 6th, 2015.
