House of Borel Website Launches
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - March 17, 2015 - On Friday, March 6, House of Borel, a new San Francisco-based luxury fashion house, officially launched with a star-studded event and a new online experience. By Monday, the website, www.houseofborel.com, designed by Immersive Garden and Blacknegative, was already nominated for multiple design awards.
The site features an interactive editorial style video experience that takes visitors through the world of the fashion brand, which is grounded in luxury, mystery, and intrigue. Inside, a private access section allows visitors with a “key” to shop the handbags, which range in price from $1,500 to $30,000.
French Design Index awarded House of Borel’s website with the “Site du Jour” accolade on March 12, following multiple other nominations by The FWA, The Awwwards, and more. The website’s design, creativity, and beauty have been cited as reasons for the honors.
House of Borel premiered at New York Fashion Week this past February. Styled by the brand’s Executive Fashion Director, Charlotte Welch, the crocodile, anaconda, and ostrich handbags - all handmade in Italy - walked the runway with Michael Costello’s Fall 2015 collection.
The lifestyle brand was created by Claire Borel and her team in 2014. With a focus on on unique, high quality pieces, the brand currently offers a collection of handbags and will expand to clothing in the upcoming Fall season.
