Pop-up store from online activewear boutique opens on University Avenue

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – August 12, 2015 – The Sweatbar, a highly curated online activewear boutique based in San Francisco, has opened their first brick-and-mortar store as a pop-up in Palo Alto, California. Founder, Cheryl Baxter, intends the store to be a one-stop shop for athleticwear, carrying everything from yoga, tennis, and golf, to surf and sport, all of which you will want to wear all day.

“We are excited to engage face to face with our customer and create a physical counterpart to our online go-to activewear destination,” Baxter says.

Complete with beach cabana changing rooms, the store reflects the laid-back shopping environment of the website. All the brands offered online are available at the pop-up, including favorites such as Koral, Michi, Solow, Vimmia, L’Etoile and more.

The Sweatbar offers chic, fun activewear from a variety of established and emerging brands outside of those that currently dominate the market. With an emphasis on wearable, versatile, and stylish pieces, The Sweatbar has chic and functional options both for dedicated athletes and women looking for, as Baxter puts it, “All-day activewear for a life well-lived.”

The Sweatbar Pop-Up is located at 441 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301. It is open Tuesday – Sunday 11am to 7pm through September 30.
