Crunchfish AB today announce that Lenovo’s new YOGA Tab 3, 8″ and 10″ series cameras are enabled with its gesture controlled features.

The YOGA Tab 3, 8″ and 10″ are Lenovo’s first tablets on the market to be integrated with Crunchfish Touchless A3D® gesture technology. The gesture controlled camera application provides users with new possibilities for smart and easy photo capturing from a distance of up to 4 meters by raising their hand.

With a creative tablet design and an 8MP rotating camera for high-resolution pictures, Lenovo has created an ideal device for users to enjoy the advantages of touchless functionality.

“The agreement with Crunchfish allows us to take the camera application to the next level by offering gesture controlled features such as photo capturing. The YOGA Tab 3, 8″ and 10” are designed for creative use and it is very exciting to be able to offer such an innovative user experience to our users,” said Johnson Zhu, Director, Tablet Product Planning, at Lenovo.

“We are very pleased to work with Lenovo, and proud to be able to contribute with our Touchless A3D® technology and long experience in touchless interaction. Lenovo’s YOGA Tab 3, 8″ and 10″ are powerful devices with impressive performance, features and innovative design. Their continuous efforts on creating intuitive user experiences fits our strategy very well and makes this cooperation extremely exciting,” said Joakim Nydemark, CEO of Crunchfish AB.
