Kimberly Watson to lead Global Sales for Cummins Power Generation’s Power Systems Business

MINNEAPOLIS — Cummins Power Generation Inc., one of the four primary business units of Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), has announced that Kimberly Watson has joined the Power Systems Business Leadership Team as Global Sales Director.

In this new role, Watson will work in partnership with the Area Business Organizations, regional Power Generation business organizations, the Distribution Business Unit Marketing and Sales teams and Cummins distributors to achieve sales targets and build world-class sales functional excellence and effectiveness.

Her extensive career in sales and marketing in both the industrial and building materials segments drove success through all market cycles, delivering growth and value to customers.”

Prior to joining Cummins, Watson managed businesses in the building materials segment, managing both commercial and residential markets for Owens Corning and CertainTeed. She began her career in engineering sales for Saint-Gobain Abrasives, where she worked closely with end users to design processes and products in the automotive, robotics, metal finishing, medical, furniture and other sectors. Kimberly managed a worldwide business as product manager, responsible primarily for market penetration and developing emerging markets.

Watson is a graduate of the University of Texas. She will be based at Power Generation headquarters in Shoreview, Minnesota.
