Boutique Bakery Anges de Sucre Launches Coveted Cake Decorating Classes

London’s premier boutique bakery is helping aspiring pâtissiers create a series of magical cake masterpieces with its brand new cake decorating classes in their Central London location. Featuring a collection of the bakery’s most fabulous creations, the brand new Anges de Sucre classes offer attendees a step by step guide to recreating some of the institution’s most coveted cakes.  

Since throwing open its doors in 2014 Anges de Sucre has earned itself a divine reputation as London’s most heavenly sweet treats mecca. Now, the patisserie is offering Londoners a chance to create their very own masterpieces with the help of its in-house team of cake decorating gurus. Interactive, engaging and fundamentally fun, the classes are ideal for creative bakers of 18 and up.

Anges de Sucre’s founder and head chef Reshmi Bennett will teach attendees a variety of professional skills and techniques. After the finishing touches have been perfected show stopping cakes are sent home with attendees to impress friends and family. As well as recreating a magical Anges de Sucre masterpiece in the Kensington workshop, attendees will leave with the newfound talent and recipes to recreate their chosen cake in their very own kitchens.

“Every day we see jaw after jaw drop at the sight of our celebration cake creations. When customers and Instagram followers started asking us how we managed such fabulous feats and expressed a desire to try it themselves, the concept of our cake decoration classes was borne. After careful curation we’ve come up with a series of classes that uncover the secrets of some of our most popular cakes,” says Reshmi Bennett, master pâtissiere and founder of Anges de Sucre.

Celebration cakes included in the debut line up of Anges de Sucre cake decorating classes include the gravity defying Tiered Royal Doughnut Cookie Monster Drip, its slightly more subdued yet equally as scrumptious Royal Doughnut Cookie Monster, the oh so indulgent Nuddy Muddy Salted Caramel MacDreamy and the ultra-edgy and trendy Ghetto-Riche Salted Caramel Drip.

With Christmas on its way, a cake decorating class is the perfect present for the recipient that just seems to have everything or for friends and colleagues to get together. Anges de Sucre has the festive season all wrapped up with cake decorating class gift certificates starting at £80.

“Christmas is a magical season for baking, with kitchens across the UK filled with the intoxicating scents of sugar. This year we’re offering gift givers a wonderful alternative to run of the mill stocking stuffers with our cake decorating classes that equip recipients with brand new skills that they’ll keep forever. It’s also a great team-building or hen-do activity,” says Bennett.

Classes kick off on November 14 and run through until February 2016 with further dates to be announced imminently. All sessions are held in the beautiful and fully equipped Anges de Sucre workshop situated in the heart of Kensington. Numbers are limited to no more than six persons to ensure each student receives ample attention, training and support.

Bennett adds, “All ingredients, equipment and specialist tools are supplied. Students simply need to bring their sense of fun, creativity and of course, their sweet tooth!”
