British Boxing Champ Carl Froch and Young Bodybuilder Cosmo Taylor Added to BodyPower Expo Line Up
Two More Famous Athletes Set to Join Roster of Celebs Attending BodyPower Expo this Weekend
BodyPower Expo has confirmed two more professional athletes have joined the impressive list of celebrity attendees set to appear at the event taking place at Birmingham NEC this weekend. Four time boxing world champion Carl Froch will join weight loss expert Jessie Pavelka, celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale and an unstoppable line up of athletes and fitness professionals including Hulk Hogan, Calum Best, Zoe Smith and Britain’s youngest bodybuilder Cosmo Taylor.
Froch has made the headlines recently as speculation about his retirement increases. He has admitted himself that having three children has made him consider quitting boxing, but his trainer states Froch will fight again on the right terms. Boxing fans can catch the middleweight British boxing star at BodyPower Expo at what could be one of his last professional appearances as an athlete.
As the UK’s youngest competitive bodybuilder, Scot Cosmo Taylor is also no stranger to attention from the press. Taylor comes from a family of weightlifters and started training himself from the age of 11. Now 15, he has been competing in bodybuilding competitions since last year and hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps. Bodybuilding is a key element to BodyPower Expo, so the 70,000+ fitness buffs expected to visit the show will be excited to meet one of the world’s youngest athletes in the sport.
BodyPower CEO and Founder Nick Orton said, “Even with just one day to go we are still announcing huge names for BodyPower Expo. That’s what makes it one of the most exciting events in the sporting and fitness industry! BodyPower Expo is Europe’s most prominent nutrition and fitness exhibition, and we’re delighted to welcome two more top notch British athletes to Birmingham NEC where they will be greeted with fans and fellow athletes from across the world.”
Carl Froch is thought to be the best British pound for pound boxer, and sixth in the world according to The Ring magazine and BoxRec. As a super middleweight he is a four time world champion, a WBA champion, a former IBF champion and has won the WBC title twice. Froch was also named GQ’s Sportsman of the Year 2013.
The core theme of BodyPower Expo is fitness, and the show has increased in diversity in recent years, with expansion into the realms of nutrition and female-focussed fitness.
Nick added, “From boxing and bodybuilding to Lorraine Pascale’s Healthy Eating Kitchen and the Girl Power area, there is something for everyone this weekend at BodyPower Expo. The Epic Fitness Summit delves into sports science and the educational side of fitness, and VIP ticket holders can also access the Super Theatre with its star studded line up of guest speakers.”
