CheckAnAgent.Com Launches Free Service for Estate Agents, Lettings Agents and Commercial Agents to Build an Online Profile
The independent estate agent and lettings agent review site, CheckAnAgent.com has launched a new service for estate agents keen to build their online profile. The platform aims to help clients choose the best agents to act for them in a move or letting of their home. Unlike other sites it’s completely free for agents to use, and gives the agent the option to upload and feed their properties straight to the checkanagent.com portal. In order to help agents build their online reputation it has expanded its roster of services and capabilities, empowering agents to accrue reviews and page views for their properties.
Each branch registering with checkanagent.com is given a free secure management area where they can upload their agency logo, staff profiles and company photos. There is also room to include website and social media links along with a link to the estate agent’s properties on their own website or on any of the major property portals – all crucial for boosting online web presence.
Kevin Barton, Co-Founder said, “CheckAnAgent.com is totally independent so there is no cost for agents to create a profile. Unlike some sites we don’t require agents to link back to us or advertise our service on their website, but we do provide free marketing material if requested. Any estate agency can create a page, upload their company info, link to their property listings on any property portal including their own, and encourage customers to rate their services. We even have a smartphone APP that agents can manage their profiles from whilst out of the office!”
They will also have access to a data area providing the agent with important information on how they are doing, how many leads and reviews they have had, and more importantly where they are ranked against their competitors.
Another important aspect of CheckAnAgent.com is the opportunity to build a positive profile through user reviews. Any verified user of the branch’s services, whether through buying, selling, letting or renting a property, is able to leave a review of the branch and its staff. The reviews are moderated and the site uses a five star rating and comments system which can help people looking to find the best agent in town to deal with. Customers can also request a free valuation at the click of a button. This gives the agents with great ratings a head start on their competitors.
According to a 2014 survey by “Bright Local” reported in industry journal Search Engine Land, 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. The survey, which is conducted annually, also found that nearly 9 in 10 consumers read online reviews to determine the quality of a local business - a statistic that gives some insight into the importance and relevance of online review participation for estate agent branches at local level. 85% of consumers were found to read up to 10 reviews before selecting a service or product provider.
With the ability to proudly display ratings and reviews on a specialised industry website, agents choosing not to tap into this free portal are missing an easy sales opportunity. Branches will gain free links to their website, social media pages, property listings and more, in addition to building a positive online profile – without asking for banners or links in return.
