Coach Operator Leisuretime Continues Growth with Interchange Hub
Leisuretime, one of the UK’s premier providers of European coach trips, has moved its pick-up interchange in South Wales from Magor Services to Cardiff West Services in order to provide better routes and a more comprehensive experience for the customer.
The holiday experts have installed a new Interchange Hub at Cardiff West Services which contains new luggage holding facilities, a live arrivals/departure screen, and an information point which will be manned with staff on departure days to answer any queries. Ideally located next to refreshment and toilet facilities, the Hub will provide an altogether more seamless environment for customers.
The new interchange hub is open and fully functional ahead of the busy summer season, getting passengers to their holiday destinations quicker and with less stress than ever before. The significant investment in its customer service infrastructure marks the start of a new phase of growth ambitions for Leisuretime, which will celebrate its

We have seen growth in pick up points across the region, and as a result we are expanding pickup locations to Bristol, Reading, Chieveley, Swindon, Cobham and Dover. This network increase means we can serve even more passengers and help more holidaymakers from around the country to travel with us.”
The company’s growth doesn’t stop there. By headhunting industry experts to lead them into the future and increase overall staff to meet increased sales demands, Leisuretime has recently increased the number of tours on offer by 20%. Its coach tours and short breaks cover a host of popular destinations in both the UK and overseas. Holidays include breaks to some of England’s coastal jewels in Devon and Cornwall, Jersey and the Isle of White while European city breaks take in destinations such as Amsterdam, Paris and Normandy.
Adding to its personalised service promise, Leisuretime has opened two new stores in Merthyr Tydfil and Queen’s Arcade in Cardiff. The Cardiff Wood Street store – known as Coach Holiday Shop – has also had a revamp and has benefitted from a partnership with National Express. This partnership which will be expanded to all Leisuretime’s South Wales stores.
