Dubai Ranked 15th in Hot International Destination Hit List
Euromonitor International has released a compendium of the top 100 city destinations and Dubai has ranked at number 15 rendering it one of the most popular international tourist destinations in the world. Such news comes as no surprise to Mamma Mia, the delectable Italian-Arabic fusion restaurant that sits picturesquely on the heaving Dubai Marina.
In 2012, the gargantuan city housed 8,023 new arrivals and received 0.5% growth. Despite statistics citing a rebound from the UAE after the Arab Spring, Dubai remains a highly heralded hotspot for international travel attracting travellers from all over the world as well as receiving a healthy bolster from an influx of wealthy Chinese tourists. Further statistics have revealed that by 2020, Dubai may be the number one international tourist destination as it continues to experience unprecedented growth.
Nadia M’hamdi, General Manager of Mamma Mia said, “Dubai is just one of those cities that have captured the world’s attention. The combination of culture, history, sizzling style, wonderful weather, great shopping and endless things to do just gives it that irresistible ‘it’ factor. We’ve been feeding the moving masses and watching Dubai just grow and grow as a hotly desired destination for people from all over the world.”
The distinguished Dubai eatery is sumptuously situated on the thriving Dubai Marina, the perfect location to people watch, catch a tan and of course, enjoy irresistible eats. Capitalising on the best of authentic Italian cuisine and heady Arabic treats, punters can fill their bellies with bottomless bowls of pasta, hearty pizzas, tender spiced meats, healthy hummus and mouth-watering kebabs. The restaurants talented, experienced chefs have been serving up succulent treats for years and infuse age-old, tried and tested cooking methods with fresh modern flairs to create innovative, highly anticipated dishes. Renowned as the best restaurant in Dubai, revellers can tuck into generous portions out on the restaurants terrace, beneath the refined elegance of its authentically Italian olive tree or from within the comfort of their own private booth.
With a smattering of healthful ingredients including ripe tomatoes, heady cheeses, sizzling spices and aromatic herbs, the fusion restaurant combines the best of two cuisines in decadent and yet utterly welcoming settings to create an experience that perfectly marries the opulence of Italy with the exoticism of the UAE. To celebrate their dreamy holiday surroundings, guests can gorge on an assortment of delicious desserts and drinks including Italian favourite tiramisu which literally translates to ‘pick me up’ and a range of organic juices.
Nadia added, “Dubai is becoming an ever-increasingly popular place to visit. If it’s true that Dubai will be number 1 by 2020, we urge people to come now to beat the crowds! Naturally, we will be happy to feed them!”
