Easter Fundraising is a Sterling Success for Charity.
A networking event with a twist was held last week in order to fund raise for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. In perfect Easter spirit, Sterling Network Groups, who are a networking organization based in Cheltenham, collaborated with the MS Society to host Unwrapping Chocolate at The Wood Norton Hotel, Evesham.
The event saw over 50 local business owners come together to see Lawrence Trackman, The Professor of Chocolate at The University of Happiness, give a detailed history of the origin of the tasty treat, before trying a few different samples and getting to know the other businesses in the room.
Neil Davis of Sterling Network Groups says: “Sterling are extremely proud to be able to support The MS Society and help to raise funds to enable them to continue the research and important work they do to benefit MS sufferers. Bringing local businesses together is our passion, and if we can use that to also benefit a charity such as the MS Society, then it’s a positive scenario for all involved.”
The total figure raised was £624 and all proceeds of the evening were donated to the MS Society.
The MS Society is a UK registered charity. Registered charity numbered 1139257 / SCO41990. www.mssociety.org.
