Following premier at IJL London, Sepanta’s Zinat and Mouji collections now available at jewellery quarter, Birmingham

Where garment designers have the global fashion weeks to flaunt their seasonal offerings, jewellery fans long await the annual International Jewellery London (IJL) event to swoon over the latest examples of accessory design. Architecturally inspired, luxury 3D printed jewellery design house Sepanta joined the streams of other acclaimed names in the industry to showcase their wares, launching the new Zinat and Mouji collection at the leading trade show last month. After gathering much attention with its innovative fusion of both natural and technological inspiration, the premium jeweller’s newest ranges are now available to buy at the Guildsman Gallery, located within the renowned jewellery quarter in Birmingham.

Dubbed by the industry press as a ‘must see’ stand at IJL 2016, the reception of the two fantastic collections certainly lived up to expectations. Taking inspiration from the mesmerising symmetry of ancient Persian geometric carpet patterns, Mouj includes a capsule collection of statements pieces, complimented by subtler, everyday versions of the design. Crafted in gleaming 18ct yellow and white gold and encrusted with diamonds, the exotic luxury of the Persian culture shines through in this collection. Alternatively, Zinat takes these ethereal influences, displaying them in a more formal manner. Where Mouj features organic, twisting shapes, Zinat is more geometrical and strategically layered in its approach, embedding fine patterns onto the surface of the jewellery. This dramatic, collection comprises of a necklace, earrings and rings in 18ct coloured gold and glistening gemstones.

Reza Esmaeeli, founder at Sepanta revealed, “Being from an architectural background, the sculptural, dramatic quality that jewellery can possess is what drew us to the art form. I enjoy the challenge of presenting real-life inspirations in a 3-Dimensional way that can be worn on the body – something that our architectural training has given us the skills to realise. I’m honoured to have received such a great reaction for the latest collections, and can’t wait to present them to the public at the finest jewellery focussed shopping district in the country.”

Rachael Taylor, The Professional Jeweller, Founding Editor said of the collection, “Really sculptural fine jewels from designers with a very prestigious architecture background.”

The production process of The Mouj and Zinat collections involves a combination of modern-day technology and tried and tested techniques using advanced modelling software, high-precision 3D printing technology and a traditional casting process. The jewellery is then hand-assembled and finished to the highest standard by esteemed British craftsmen based in Hatton Garden, London.

These two premium collections are available to buy at the Guildsman Jewellery Gallery, located in the esteemed jewellery quarter in Birmingham.  Created to provide a permanent retail venue for makers of the finest quality, contemporary fine jewellery and handmade silverware, only unique, handmade items crafted from fine materials by the hands of skilled artisans can be found at this impeccable outlet.
