Fundraising Party Set To Subsidise World’s First Female Focused Business Incubator
Women mean business this month with the launch of a fundraising party and crowdfunding campaign designed to kick-start the world’s first business incubator for female entrepreneurs. At its core, the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation aims to empower, inspire and support women as they storm the male dominated world of business.
Kicking off on January 28, the Female Business Ballers fundraising party will shine the spotlight on some of London’s fiercest female entrepreneurs. The key note speaker has just been announced as Julie Meyer, who is the Chairman and Chief Executive of Ariadne Capital, founder of Entrepreneurship Global and holds an MBE for her services to entrepreneurship. Held at the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn, the high profile event is designed to introduce attendees to the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation and its crowd funding campaign. Engineered exclusively for businesswomen, the organisation embodies the inherent female qualities of integrity, creativity, purpose, passion and style.
Lu Li, Founder of the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation said, “At the heart of the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation is a desire to be the kind of incubation programme that women dream of. But to kick-start the organisation we need capital which is why we’re throwing the fundraising party and launching a crowdfunding campaign.”
With past roles at McKinsey and Procter & Gamble, Ms Li has solid experience in brand management and management consulting and is therefore best equipped to set up a business incubation programme helping female entrepreneurs build their brands.
Attending the event will be a flock of female entrepreneurs and supporters of women in business who embody the essence of the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation philosophy. The female creators of 20 start-ups will be representing the best of London’s fashion, lifestyle, food, fitness and tech scenes. Experienced entrepreneurs and mentors will be on hand to provide valuable feedback and start-up advice to attendees at all stages of their business journey. The event also represents a fantastic opportunity to network with active investors, corporate executives, relevant partners and an army of like-minded female entrepreneurs.
While the programme is based on traditional incubation models, Female Entrepreneurs Organisation offers its femme fatales some seriously sassy twists. From personal styling and usage of photo/video studios to MasterMind circles, the group has added a few extraordinary perks that they believe are the key to fostering business growth.
Making January 28 all the more exciting will be the simultaneous launch of the official Female Entrepreneurs Organisation crowdfunding campaign.
Ms Li added, “We truly believe that women are the world’s most under tapped resource. This belief is what has driven us to establish the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation, invest in women and change the world for the better, one female entrepreneur at a time.”

Tickets for the Female Business Ballers fundraising party are now on sale from Eventbrite . Early Bird VIP tickets including a 12 month subscription to Elle Magazine are £20 while tickets sans the subscription are £15. General Admission VIP tickets including a 12 month subscription to Elle Magazine are £35, with General Admission VIP tickets without the subscription are £25. Those who can’t make the event are encouraged to make a donation and support the Female Entrepreneurs Organisation cause. All ticket proceeds will be channelled directly into the crowdfunding campaign.
