Inflatable aquatic assault course makes a splash in Dorset

Adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers get ready to take on inflatable obstacles and be wet and wild as Dorset’s newest waterpark gets pulses racing. Giving Total Wipeout a run for its money, Dorset Waterpark’s inflatable objects are designed to test even the toughest of competitors.

Located in picturesque woods overlooking Corfe Castle, the ‘woodland waterpark’ takes the standard waterpark to the next level. Working individually, participants work their way through, under and over the obstacles in order to get from one side of the lake to the other. Featuring inflatable slides, trampolines, gladiator rings, hurdles, rollers, monkey bars, bridges and balance beams but to name a few, the exhilarating assault course is as much about mental strength as it is about physical agility.

Rob Mulliner, Director   said, “The Dorset Waterpark really is the first of its kind for the country. It’s been a long time in the making, but we’re excited to finally ready for the summer season. We’ve been open for a couple of months now and are already booking up fast. Thanks to its individuality, it has proven to be quite the attraction for people from all around the country and of all ages and abilities.”

Great for injecting a bit of healthy competition into family holidays in the region, entertaining groups on stag and hen parties, and getting colleagues into the spirit on team away days, the Waterpark is wetting the appetite of both locals and visitors to the area.

Opening at the end of April this year, the Dorset Waterpark is set on the lakes at the foot of the stunning Corfe Castle. As well as being the first waterpark in Dorset, it is also the first ‘woodland waterpark’ in the whole of the UK. Boasting glorious views of the Dorset landscape as well as the historic Castle, the Waterpark is spread over multiple lakes, with each lake coming complete with its own unique set of obstacles.

Offering one-hour sessions for participants, the park requires people to be able to swim at least 50 metres and be over the age of six years old.
