Integrated drone solutions specialists, ConsortiQ to share aviation expertise at Commercial UAV Show

Unmanned aviation is an industry that is constantly developing, simultaneously allowing businesses to grow their services while creating a whole new career opening for specially trained pilots to enable these changes. ConsortiQ, a leading figure in the commercial drone sector, is heading to the Commercial UAV Show this month, a trade show that has been formed in light of the growing demand in the area. The drone solution specialists will be joined by sister companies UAVAir, an international drone training academy and Cloud 12, aerial drone filming specialists, to share the group’s extensive knowledge in this field.

The Commercial UAV Show, organised by business media company Terrapinn, celebrates its third year in operation this October. Already established as a ‘must-visit’ event for industry insiders, the show has earned a strong reputation for showcasing UAV innovators and experts in the field. ConsortiQ and its partnership companies are honoured to be showcasing alongside reputable names in the business, and hope to educate attendees with the incredible possibilities that this technology can achieve at this up-coming trade show appearance.

Helen Cope, Marketing Manager at ConsortiQ said, “As the widespread applications of drones for commercial use becomes more and more apparent, the Commercial UAV Show has quickly become a vital date on every forward-thinking businesses trade show calendar. We can’t wait to join in the conversation and showcase our services this year. We have a strong team of aviation experts, experienced in both manned and unmanned operations, ready and waiting to share their insights, predictions and knowledge to those who want to learn more about how drones can help them.”

Representatives from the companies can be found at stand 93, with David Walters; Specialist Projects Manager, Helen Cope; Marketing Manager and Bryce Allcorn; Training manager available at the show.

Covering all corners of the globe with offices in the UK, USA, UAE and South Africa, ConsortiQ and its accompanying firms are also diverse in the industries that they serve. Seamus Kearns from Surrey Search and Rescue (SURSAR) will be joining the drone consultants at their stand, offering information about the dedicated Search and Rescue drone training course that is offered by ConsortiQ, developed in partnership with the SURSAR team.

Cope continued, “As well as providing unlimited business benefits, we cannot ignore the childlike joy that flying a drone can also provoke. We’ll have a drone simulator at our stand so all novice pilots can experience this marvellous technology!”

ConsortiQ showcased the benefits of its drone training for the emergency services in current-affairs style programme ‘Beyond Blue Lights’ earlier this year. Made in partnership with the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) and ITN Productions, the programme will be screened by the company at its trade show stand.  View the ConsortiQ’s segment of the programme online at
