Jedidiah’s Place Launches Handmade Silver and Polymer Clay Jewellery Range

Booming online fashion boutique Jedidiah’s Place is launching its new handmade silver and polymer clay jewellery range in the second quarter of 2015. Accompanying the site’s current collection of striking neckpieces, rings, bracelets and earrings adorned with semi-precious stones, the new range adds an intriguing new angle to the Lagos based accessories website.

Polymer clay is modelling clay that is cured into a very hard and durable form via heat by baking. The versatile medium is incredibly adaptive lending itself effectively to the crafting of very unique jewellery pieces. The ultra-fine silver range utilises metal clay which when sintered using a torch or kiln, can be transformed into fine silver. The fine silver will be used with silver or copper sheets. Another versatile medium, metal clay can be merged with sterling silver, gold, precious stones and polymer clay for exciting fusions. Jedidiah’s Place seeks to incorporate these varying elements with a touch of authentic leather for striking, original and distinctive fashion items.

The ever expanding company specialises in authentic handmade leather accessories including a range of distinguished handbags, handy laptop pages and clutches. Alongside the handbag range, a variety of striking accessories are also on offer including neck pieces and bracelets and a side line of wallets, belts, phone pouches and tablet cases - all enthused with authentic African flair.

Oluwatosin Lewis, Founder of Jedidiah’s Place said, “Our range of bags and jewellery has proved immensely popular all over the world which is why we are so excited to introduce our new line of products. The silver and polymer clay range makes the most of the versatility and malleability of the materials to create really unique and gorgeous items, ideal for any woman who wants a true style statement.”

Lewis’ personalised, hands-on approach ensures that every item is handmade to a high quality. With years of industry expertise, Lewis has garnered a diploma in jewellery design and repair, a certificate in textiles creative techniques and even private tutelage in the art of leather handbag design and creation. Her specialised understanding of semi-precious jewels and leather has helped her create a line of bags and jewellery that is sold in a number of online marketplaces.

Lewis adds, “Our new range is set to launch soon and we are very excited to see the reaction. Our pieces reflect the style we opt for; bold, colourful, joyful and sassy!”
