New Crime Mystery Novel Charts at No.1 in Amazon Bestsellers Gay And Lesbian Mystery List

The brand new crime thriller from lesbian fiction author Jade Winters, Everything to Lose, has raced up the charts to the number one spot following its release this weekend. The novel, which is the sequel to A Walk Into Darkness, jumped to the top place in the niche genre of Gay and Lesbian Mystery on the Amazon Kindle bestsellers list.

The eBook has been highly anticipated after the first in the Ashley McCoy detective series was released in 2013. Keeping fans guessing, author Jade Winters finished penning the thrilling story recently and released the long awaited sequel in May 2015.

Jade Winters, author of Everything to Lose said, “I can’t put into words how proud and excited I am that this book has proved so popular and made it to the top of an Amazon chart. This proves that my amazing character Ashley McCoy has a loyal following, and the series can continue – stay tuned for a McCoy crime saga of eBooks!”

The story opens when the main character, female detective Ashley, is removed from one of the most challenging murder cases of her career – after her own brother becomes a prime suspect. The gripping plot follows Ashley’s personal and professional endeavours as she desperately tries to prove her brother’s innocence while investigating a different murder case.

This thriller of a novel is placed in the Gay and Lesbian Mystery chart because Jade Winters started out as an author in the lesbian genre, and has become renowned for her gay literature offerings. Having published nine books, Jade felt it was time to branch out into other genres and try her hand at crime fiction, where she has now proved successful.

Jade added, “This was a real test for me – I know people enjoy my lesbian fiction stories, but I wanted to appeal to a wider audience. This rapid success of Everything to Lose has opened up so many opportunities for me – I’m so grateful.”
