NEW PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION COMPANY OPENS IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
A new, fully functional production company offering professional online recording services has opened based in Buckinghamshire. Fiermente Productions will provide the space, tools and expertise to help musicians in Buckinghamshire and the rest of the UK realise their dreams and produce high quality recordings without breaking the bank.
The new company is the result of over a year’s hard work of three like minded individuals, all with experience and knowledge of the production and recording process. Roy Bates, George Belben and Ian Bonner all honed their skills while studying Audio & Music Production at Bucks New University and since graduating have put all their time and effort into building Fiermente Productions from the ground so that other people who share their passion for music can use their services to record their creative output. This includes recording, mixing, online stem mixing, track production as well as external engineering, all of which is carried out on top of the range equipment.
Roy Bates, co-founder of Fiermente Productions says, “Since founding the company in September 2012, it has been extremely hard work but at the same time it’s been such an exciting experience putting together the company at Fiermente Productions. Having learned so much about audio production while working with the guys at university, it is very rewarding to be able to put our passion into practise and open our very own company. The recordings we’ve done already are sounding fantastic so now we can’t wait to see what the future holds and what great music we can make with local bands from the area as well as musicians from across the country that we hope will travel to be able to record with Fiermente Productions.”
The team recently unveiled their most recent project on their Facebook page; an EP by London duo Colourshop called Chasing Life, which was mixed by Fiermente Productions. If this beautifully recorded piece of acoustic pop is anything to go by, the guys behind the mixing desk certainly know exactly what they are doing. The Italian musicians said of working with Fiermente Productions:
"Very passionate and professional crew, had great time working with them. Fast, accurate and great sound, definitely recommended!"
The dream team behind Fiermente have also worked with Telpha, Misha and his Merry Men, Jess Walker and Carlos Bonell among others. Additionally the fledgling company was recently awarded the awarded the Focusrite prize for best music production recording 2014.
Giles Orford, marketing director for Focusrite, said: "Focusrite has been proud to once again sponsor the Focusrite Award for Best Production at Bucks New University. The quality of production on the tracks produced by Roy and Ian was extremely high and we offer huge congratulations to them on winning the award."
Ian Bonner of Fiermente said, “Music to many artists is a personal journey. It is an auditory combination of emotions, experiences and messages making it our job to create the finest quality product for our clients with our high attention to detail. We offer the expertise of three experienced and qualified (BA hons degrees) engineers and producers who will produce both technically and creatively an exceptional final mix for our artists.”
