Newcomer Fashion Designer sees her collection worn by celebrities including Zayn Malik and Brooklyn Beckham
A clothing designer from Leeds, UK has received the ultimate A-list seal of approval, after a flock of celebrities were photographed wearing her hand-drawn designs.
Tania Panesar a former senior creative at an advertising agency left her promising career behind to follow her dream of being a fashion designer. From humble beginnings a real story where following your dreams really did come true. She founded Troojo in 2014, combining her love for fashion and art with a range of creative and stylish t-shirts. The on-trend designs were initially passed around family and friends, but when celebrities like boxer Amir Khan and singer Peter Andre started to wear the designs, Troojo was placed on a fast-track to celebrity approval and global exposure.
Troojo went global when Zayn Malik chose to wear a number of Tania’s designs on One Direction’s tour in 2014 – a tour that hit the headlines almost every day and saw Troojo shirts dominating column inches. Fashion icon David Beckham’s son Brooklyn Beckham has also been spotted out and about on the streets of LA wearing a Troojo design, cementing the brand’s status as a true global phenomenon.
The icing on the cake this month sees Zayn Malik featured on the cover of ELLE UK magazine wearing one of the designs. The ex-One Direction member now solo megastar also wears a Troojo design in the featured photoshoot, alongside premium brands like Burberry and Cartier.
Tania says, “Troojo hits a real milestone this month with an appearance on the cover of one of the UK’s leading monthly magazines, ELLE UK. It’s a real honour to have my designs feature alongside some of the world’s most famous fashion brands.”
She adds, “I always believed in myself and worked hard to achieve success, but never would have imagined only two years ago just how successful my label would be. To see my designs worn by such high profile celebrities, from UK names like Mark Wright and Peter Andre to bona-fide Hollywood royalty like Zayn Malik, it’s been an incredible journey so far and I’m thrilled the response to my designs has been so positive, I’m thankful to everyone for supporting the brand and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
The majority of the Troojo designs are hand-drawn by Tania, giving them an authentic, creative edge that can be missing in some digitally produced designs.
Troojo is also committed to ensuring its A-list clients have fashion pieces that are truly their own. Tania regularly customises pieces from the range for her famous clients, helping them stand out in the crowd and cultivate their own personal aesthetic and style along the way.
