Patisserie Boutique in Kensington Launches the Muffles, aka Marshmallow Truffles

 Anges de Sucre or 'sugar angels', a bijou boutique on Holland Street in the heart of Kensington, is launching its own original gourmet creation, a delightful marshmallow and chocolate truffle hybrid - the first ever Muffles.

Each individually hand-crafted Muffle features a smooth Belgian white, milk or dark chocolate shell, embellished with crushed nuts or cookies and filled with a freshly-whipped, light and airy marshmallow with a secret soft gooey core of rich chocolate ganache. The Muffles are fun, frivolous and delicious treats with a smooth domed almost-planetary appearance and contrasting inner layers – launched just in time for Christmas.

Anges de Sucre's Original Super Muffles, inspired by some of the world's most iconic women, come in three delicious inaugural flavours:

Super Muffle Cindy
Smooth Belgian milk chocolate shells encrusted with crushed caramelised speculoos 'biscoff' cookies, encasing a pillow-soft organic vanilla bean pod marshmallow and a soft and silken hidden core of dark chocolate ganache.

Super Muffle Heidi

Creamy Belgian white and milk chocolate marbled shells rolled in roasted crushed peanuts and filled with plump organic vanilla bean pod mallow fluff and a gooey sea-salted caramel surprise finish.

Super Muffle Naomi

Rich 70% Belgian chocolate shells and crushed hazelnuts enrobing a fresh and fluffy marshmallow with banana puree and a smooth creamy blend of Nutella and chocolate.

Anges de Sucre was founded by Londoner Reshmi Bennett, who trained in classical French cuisine in Paris at Ecole Gregoire Ferrandi. Born and raised in Kuwait with Indian parents, Reshmi has also lived in Paris and London, and was inspired by her global background to create a unique taste experience, reflecting in her macarons, marshmallows and now muffles.
