Private Network Launches Grants Scheme To Help People Create Moments That Matter

An innovative online platform is helping people create memorable moments with the launch of an all-new grant scheme called Boxfund. The generous gesture is being run by Boxego, the unique private online network that offers users absolute control when it comes to storing and sharing memories. To celebrate the launch of Boxfund, the Boxego iOS app has been made 100% free to download until the end of the year.

James Birrell, Founder of Boxego, says “Boxego is all about helping our users to easily capture, keep and share their special moments and we wanted to give them a helping hand to create the moments that matter to them. We decided that the best way to do this would be to develop Boxfund as a monthly grant scheme.”

Rather than use platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to publically broadcast personal content to the world, Boxego offers users a completely controllable online life log. Private, Share Now and Future Share functions allow users to choose if they want to share content, who they want to share with and uniquely when they want to share it.

“If Twitter is for what you are doing and Facebook is for what you have done then Boxego is for what you want to keep,” added Mr Birrell.

Three Boxfund grants are awarded each month, with values of £25, £50 and £100. The grants are paid via Paypal and can be used for any purpose. Boxfund grants have already helped a variety of individuals and groups create some very special memories. From charities and community initiatives to sports clubs and schools, everybody stands to benefit from Boxego’s generous new scheme.

Anyone with a Boxego account can apply for a grant for themselves or they can nominate someone else. Whether a special someone needs a break, a treat or simply a smile, a surprise Boxfund award is the perfect way to recognise a well-deserving individual.

Applying for a Boxfund grant is incredibly simple. Applicants simply select their grant of choice from the Boxfund homepage and give a brief description of how they would use the cash. Grants are released on the first Monday of each month with users notified of awards via their Boxego inbox.

To mark the launch of the Boxfund scheme Boxego has made its iOS App FREE to download until the end of 2014. The app is synchronised with the Boxego website which means users enjoy a streamlined experience, no matter what the device. The portable nature of the app means that Boxego users can document their memorable moments from anywhere, at any time. The Boxego app is now available to download from the iTunes store and will cost absolutely nothing until 2015.

Mr Birrell says, “We believe that important memories should last forever and with Boxego, our users enjoy access to a safe and secure platform where they can store special moments and share them on their terms. We want to offer this experience to as many people as possible which is why we’ve made the Boxego App 100% free to download until the end of the year. Head to the App Store today to enjoy instant access to a wealth of unique private and social sharing features and create a digital shoebox of memories.”
