Regital, the Manchester based digital marketing agency, has appointed Cisco Systems Director Tunji Akintokun as a Non-Executive Director, as part of a strategy to take its unique digital media sales offering to emerging overseas markets.
The company opened its first overseas office in Sydney in 2015, with a second Australian operation in Melbourne following in 2016, and to scale the business, Regital has brought in Global Sales expert Akintokun, who has led teams for Cisco across the Middle East, Africa and Russia. He is currently the Director of mid-market sales and partner alliances across Africa for Cisco.
"We are delighted to have someone with such rounded overseas sales experience as Tunji onboard" Regital founding Director, Ian Vint said.
Akintokun said of his appointment as non-executive director: "I am excited to be part of the Regital story. Ian and his team have achieved a great deal in a short time and I believe have the potential to expand further into emerging markets, and build a sizeable share of digital media spend in these exciting territories”.
“The Internet continues to change the way we connect, communicate and collaborate at an unprecedented rate. Digitisation touches countries, companies and people in driving innovation and growth, and Regital is a forward thinking organisation embracing this and disrupting the market in the process. I am really excited to be joining Regital at this key phase in their growth and expansion”.
