Silicon Valley Innovation Center Announces Navigating Fintech Disruption: Silicon Valley Immersion Program
An elite group of like-minded financial services innovators will descend on Silicon Valley in March, July and November as Silicon Valley Innovation Center (SVIC) hosts Navigating Fintech Disruption: Executive Immersion Program in Silicon Valley. Building on last year’s events, the Immersion Program is a disruptive, game-changing hot ticket, which will see FinTech powerhouses, innovators and cutting-edge startups help delegates master fundamental technology trends. Running over five days, the program is designed to immerse financial services executives in the FinTech landscape of Silicon Valley to explore one of the most fluid, most challenging and most exciting topics – that of growth acceleration using disruptive, emerging technologies.
Each of the three conferences will feature a closed-doors look at some of the financial services industry’s biggest challenges. With an agenda full of visits to the most innovative companies, provocative discussions, strategic brainstorming sessions and innovative discoveries, Navigating Fintech Disruption is exclusive, practical and cutting-edge.
Delegates can expect to leave with a renewed skill set and the ability to stay on top of industry disruption, with firsthand experience of Fintech innovation and the capacity to confidently evaluate the risk of ignoring, acquiring, partnering or competing with banking's new technology-driven competitors.
Andrey Kunov, CEO of SVIC, said, “Although digital disruption is a horizontal phenomenon impacting all commerce, few sectors are experiencing more change than the highly-dynamic and intensely-competitive financial services. Artificial Intelligence, Security, Big Data, APIs, cloud, encryption, mobile payments, digital banking, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have totally shifted customer expectations and transformed the way financial services are carried out. For financial services executives, there is a very real need to figure out how to deal with FinTech and not to miss opportunities created by the evolving FinTech landscape.”
Led by Silicon Valley innovators, with BNY Melon Silicon Valley Innovation Center, Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, Citi Ventures, Western Union, IdentityMind and Token among others previously in attendance, the events will equip participants with up-to-the-minute knowledge in fields such as blockchain technology, best practice compliance for ID verification and fraud prevention and regulatory technology.
“Attendees will leave feeling invigorated and ready to leverage FinTech to accelerate innovation, using disruptive technologies to their advantage” said Marene Wolters, Director of Programs at SVIC. “Immersing into the fabric of Silicon Valley allows them to focus on thinking further “outside of the box”. And the connections that they create, which are the hallmark of the SVIC programs, will open pathways to new business opportunities, partnerships, and business alliances. The entire focus of this customized and comprehensive program is on growth and insights.”
Navigating Fintech Disruption: Executive Immersion Program will take place on the following dates at the Silicon Valley Innovation Center, 1850 Gateway Drive, Suite # 150, San Mateo, CA 94402.
