Spencer Paul Unveils Details Of Exclusive Leuka Charity Golf Day
Britain’s favourite golf clothing boutique is delighted to announce their support of The Lindi Wilson Golf & Spa Day in association with Leuka that is set to go ahead on Wednesday March 25th, 2015. The event is being held in association with leading Leukaemia research charities such as Leuka. Play will take place at the esteemed Foxhills Country Club and Resort, home of the British Senior Open Championship 2015, located in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Spencer Paul welcomes both golfers and non-golfers, with a range of tickets designed to suit every interest.
Ian Spencer, Co-Founder at Spencer Paul said, “At Spencer Paul our passions run far deeper than a love for stylish golf wear. My family is currently experiencing the aftermath of a leukaemia diagnosis and that’s why we’ve chosen Leuka as our official charity partner.”
In the UK alone, over 20 people are diagnosed with leukaemia every day. Yet despite the brutal nature of the disease, 40% of these victims survive for at least five years after diagnosis. Furthermore, leukaemia 10 year survival rates have quadrupled since the early 1970s. The medical sphere is making slow yet significant process and Spencer Paul is committed to lending a helping hand. The company’s involvement was inspired by the personal experience of Ian Spencer, whose sister-in-law was diagnosed with leukaemia earlier this year.
Spencer said, “As the days and weeks progressed we realised that leukaemia has no set pattern. It can target anyone, of any age, whatever their lifestyle, making it one of the most horrible and unpredictable diseases which effects thousands of families every year. As a business we want do everything we can to help and are incredibly excited to announce the details of our debut Leuka fundraising event to the golfing community.”
For golfing enthusiasts Spencer Paul is inviting players to take part in an 18 hole team competition which will included a nearest the pin and longest drive competition. The day is social yet competitive and will kick off with an arrival breakfast where players will get a chance to meet and greet their fellow ticketholders. A short game and putting clinic with leading Pro golfers will mark the beginning of play. The day will conclude with a 2-course Evening Meal and Entertainment.
Spencer Paul is also offering fabulous non-golfer packages for friends and family wanting to support the cause while their loved ones hit the links. This includes an entire day’s spa access to the ultra-indulgent Foxhills Health Spa plus a 55 minute treatment of their choice. Here, guests can spend the day unwinding in the indoor pool, steam room and tranquil spa garden, as well as treat themselves to an irresistible menu of facial, massages, holistic treatments, thermal therapies and more.

Individual player tickets cost £125, two player team tickets cost £225, four player team tickets cost £495 and three player team tickets with a Pro costs £575. For non-golfers, dinner only packages cost £50 while combined breakfast, spa day and dinner packages cost £125. Tickets are limited and Spencer Paul is urging players and non-golfers to get in quick in order to avoid disappointment.
