The Car Hire Champion to Launch New Book This Week
The Car Hire Champion launches his brand new e-book this week, just in time to help the millions of Brits setting off on their summer holidays to hire a car with confidence.
Entitled The Car Hire Champion’s Guide to Car Hire, the fact filled read is an indispensable resource for anyone who has hired or plans to hire a car. Filled with words of wisdom, bucket loads of tips, handy hints on what to look out for, questions to ask, small print to be wary of and lots of plain English information, the book is as essential as a driving license, suitcase and SPF for anyone about to take to the open road in a hire car.
The book is the brainchild of Mark Bower. His company, Moneymaxim has helped over a quarter of a million car hirers in their search for better and cheaper car rental. Moneymaxim is independent of all car hire firms and insurers, giving it a unique position in the market and ensuring it is perfectly placed to assist renters without fear or favour.
Car hirers in the UK can get a copy of this brand new e-book, and access personal car rental advice and assistance through a new website that has also been launched this week - www.carhirechampion.co.uk
For readers who have a question they don’t feel has been answered in the book Bower also offers readers the opportunity to ‘Ask Mark’ through his www.carhirechampion.co.uk website. Visitors can simply raise their query and Bower will respond via an interactive link on the site.
The Car Hire Champion’s Guide to Car Hire covers every aspect of car hire from insurance to fuel policies, child seats and sat nav hire. It takes a no-nonsense and ultra informative approach to essentials such as timing of the rental – it’s often as cheap to rent for a week as five day’s for example – payment and which credit cards to use and avoid, how to choose a reputable car hire firm and understanding insurance options. The book also offers typical excess amounts by country, common claims on excess insurance and how to avoid them, types of insurance, advice on airport pickups and all manner of other topics from renting with young drivers, additional drivers and even how to find ways around costly child seat hire.
For those who have rented a car before and are wary of doing so again, the final chapters of the book cover what could go wrong and how to deal with any issues. Examples include what to do if a car hire desk insists you have to buy their insurance, a checklist for verifying the condition of the car is as stated and how to ensure funds are returned if pre-paid extras are not available when the car is collected. In worst case scenarios, a list of paperwork to obtain a copy of and what to do in the event of damage to the car when it is returned to the hire company is also included.
Bower said, “Having helped thousands of people with their car hire questions, we know that a poor car hire experience can overshadow the entire trip. Renting a car can be a little daunting with the expense if something goes wrong weighing heavy on many driver’s minds. There’s also the problem of who to choose in such a busy marketplace and how to navigate the jargon. My new e-book was written to cut through all of this uncertainty with practical advice that covers every aspect of hiring a car. I hope it’s helpful to anyone thinking of getting behind the wheel in a rental car this summer!”
