UAVAir brings its CAA approved drone training to York

UAVAir, the national drone training school, has announced that it is adding York to its list of Unmanned Aircraft Qualification (UAQ) course locations in the UK. The first training course will take place at York Marriott hotel on 5-7 November. This course from the leading academy for UAV training will give individuals in York the opportunity to receive a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved drone licence after just three days of training, giving each candidate the skills to safely and legally fly a UAV for commercial purposes in the UK.

The team at UAVAir is made up of professionals with extensive experience in manned and unmanned aviation. Each instructor uses their in-depth knowledge, gained from years of practice in the industry, to give each candidate a theoretical understanding of drone operations as well as the practical skills needed to fly an unmanned aircraft.

John Gore, Operations Manager at UAVAir said, “Our fast track UAQ courses have proven to be very popular throughout the UK, and we are excited to extend our offerings to York. Past students have gone on to launch their own drone-based businesses, or to help their company improve their services by integrating this new technology. We urge anyone in the north of England that is considering investing in a UAQ qualification to enrol in our course, to receive the highest standard of training available to them.”

As the technology has developed, a wide range of industries including construction, agriculture, and photography now use drones to enhance their operations. However, any business looking to fly a UAV must possess a UAQ qualification, such as the one offered at the courses based in York. The expert team at UAVAir has a combined decade of experience in engineering, military, and aerial filming, bringing a huge amount of useful knowledge to the training offered by the academy, ready to prepare its candidates for a successful drone piloting career in a wide range of industries.

John Gore added, “At UAVAir, we believe in giving drone training that goes beyond simply gaining the UAQ certification, and we give each of our students practical insight and useful information, gained from years of experience in the field, to prepare them for a number of situations that may arise when flying a drone commercially. We are passionate about helping our students form a promising career in this exciting industry, and enlist them with the varied skills that are needed to do so.”
