Delete Sweden AB will acquire two more companies from European Hydro Demolition AB.

“Waterjet Stockholm and W-tech will boost our presence in the Stockholm region. It is one of our growth areas, especially regarding the infrastructure sector, which is of great importance to the region,” says Lars-Gunnar Almryd, Managing Director of Delete Sweden.

Only a few months after its acquisition of Waterjet Karlstad in June, Delete Sweden AB will now buy Waterjet Stockholm and W-tech, as well. The seller of all three companies is European Hydro Demolition AB.

“It seems natural and appropriate to bring Waterjet Stockholm and W-tech also on board. Both companies are highly competent and offer us a good platform for further growth,” says Lars-Gunnar Almryd.

“It’s important for our customers, not to mention for ourselves, that we engage in well-structured sustainability efforts. Our recent acquisitions provide us with a team of professionals who can contribute with their skills and knowledge in this field, too. Working together makes us strong and ensures that our customers are safe,” Almryd adds.

“We feel positive about joining Delete Sweden and making it even stronger. Our competence will be of particular benefit in the field of infrastructure services, including hydrodemolition, track services and concrete repairs. We look forward to operating as part of Delete and continuing to deliver first-class service in our field,” says Tomas Åberg from European Hydro Demolition AB.

Stockholm – a region of growth

“Delete’s strategic goal is to be its customers’ first-choice supplier of environmental services in the Nordic countries. This acquisition is in line with our strategy. It enables us to broaden our environmental service range and secures for us an even stronger foothold in the important Stockholm region, especially regarding our infrastructure service concept,” explains Tommi Kajasoja, CEO of Delete Group Oyj.

Waterjet Stockholm and W-tech specialise in infrastructure services, including bridge, garage, tunnel and car park maintenance. The companies’ customers operate mainly in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Since its establishment in 2010, Delete has acquired over 35 companies. Acquisitions and organic growth in both Finland and Sweden have made the company a Nordic leader in industrial cleaning and demolition services.

In 2017, Waterjet Stockholm and W-tech had a turnover of EUR 10 million (approximately SEK 100 million). Following the latest acquisition, Delete welcomes 28 new colleagues in the Stockholm region.
