Det norske appoints Chief Financial Officer

Det norske is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alexander Krane
(36) as its new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Krane has an MSc degree
("siviløkonom") and is a Norwegian State Authorized Public Accountant.
He comes to Det norske from Aker ASA, where he served as Corporate
Controller. Previous positions have been with Norse Energy Corp. ASA and
KPMG. Mr. Krane will assume his new position during the third quarter of
2012.
"Alexander's experience and knowledge from auditing, the oil industry
and from the supplier industry will prove highly beneficial to the
company's further growth ambitions, and we are looking forward to
