They also often fund studies to refute any link between soda consumption and health problems along with sponsoring ‘health education’ programs. Artificial sweeteners have been linked to many health issues such as cancers, headaches, seizures, fatigue, sleep disorders, joint pain, weight gain asthma and gastrointestinal problems, to name a few.”
“A diet high in sugar has been shown to have an adverse effect on behavior,” says Tom. “It is more important than ever to educate your children about making healthy choices. You also need to set the example for them. Eliminating all soda and soft drinks from you home and avoiding them when you eat out is a really good start.”
