Sweden’s Chamber of Commerce awards Diaverum best medium-sized company 2013.

For its innovation and pioneering spirit, Diaverum is the most successful medium-sized Swedish company for 2013 in Germany.

Munich/Lund, 23.08.2013 – Diaverum, Europe’s largest product independent and one of the world’s leading renal care service providers, has been awarded the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s ‘best medium-sized company’ prize. Diaverum has been active in Germany since 2009; today, it cares for some 1,500 patients across 21 clinics.

Diaverum has 20 years‘ experience in the area of dialysis, going back to its time as part of Gambro — a Swedish healthcare specialist. The patient’s quality of life is at the center of all activities. The high focus on medical quality, preventive care, management and the treatment of kidney disease, as well as its individual patient care focus makes Diaverum unique. Germany is an important core market for Swedish companies with a global outlook. Today, Diaverum treats around 1,500 patients in 21 clinics — that is over 104,000 treatments each year.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce has awarded Diaverum the medium-sized company prize for its activities in 2013.

„Diaverum has successfully made its mark in Germany, an important export market for Sweden, with its innovate approach to the future of the dialysis industry,” explains Mats Hultberg, CEO of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, of the jury’s decision.

„Germany is a key market for us — we are proud of our successful development,“ says Dag Andersson, President and CEO Diaverum. “We will keep moving forward and will open up new avenues in the prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
