NEW LONG TERM CHARTER CONTRACT FOR AKER DOF DEEPWATER AS

Aker DOF Deepwater AS (ADD), a company jointly owned by DOF ASA (DOF)
and Aker Solutions ASA (AKSO), has secured a new long term time charter
contract for one of its large AHTS vessels stationed in the Australasian
region, MV "SKANDI PACIFIC". The contract duration is two years firm,
with three one year extension options for the charterer, the Indonesian
company PT Transamudra Usaha Sejahtera.

Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF, says that this contract is a first for ADD in
Indonesian waters, and we are very pleased about the prospects of
securing long term contracts in Indonesia as well as other parts of the
