Niklas Savander assumes role as Elekta’s new President and CEO

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 1 – As announced in October 2013, Niklas Savander will today assume the role as Elekta’s President and CEO, succeeding Tomas Puusepp who will continue as member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Niklas Savander says: “Tomas Puusepp has done a marvelous job and managed to bring out the best in people at Elekta. At Elekta we always put our customers and their patients in focus in everything we do. I am proud to take the helm of this successful and exciting company.”

Niklas Savander will present Elekta’s results for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year on May 28; on June 17 a Capital Markets Day will be held in Stockholm.
