Eltel has signed a three-year frame agreement with Caruna Oy in Finland at a value of approximately EUR 30 million. The agreement comprises building and modernisation of the power distribution network in Southern Finland.

As a turnkey agreement Eltel’s scope extends from planning to execution and documentation in Caruna’s IT system. The focus of the services will be transforming medium voltage networks from overhead lines to underground cabling. The agreement covers a three-year time period from March 2018 till March 2021.

“The largest power distribution system operator Caruna in Finland is an important customer for Eltel. The new agreement continues our long-established collaboration with Caruna to improve the network reliability and proves Eltel’s capability to deliver a wide scope of services cost efficiently,” says Juha Luusua, Managing Director, Eltel Networks Oy.
