Reigate, UK, 14 June 2013 - European Sign Expo (ESE), the dedicated signage event co-located with FESPA 2013 at ExCeL London from 25-27 June 2013, has published the full speaker schedule of the free educational conference, covering every aspect of digital signage design, implementation and use. Each day, the Screenmedia Theatre conference will begin with a Digital Signage Basics session - aimed at visitors looking to adopt digital signage technology - and subsequent presentations are divided into five key themes: Converging Channels, Digital Signage Integration, Digital Sign Design, Signs & Stores, and Signs, Spaces & Structures. Attendance to the exhibition is free for visitors who register online at www.europeansignexpo.com in advance (£55 on the day).

Vendors such as BroadSign, BrightSign, Intel and ZetaDisplay, as well as companies including Twelve Studio, H Squared and N2 Collective will deliver jargon-free presentations aimed at providing attendees with insight and advice on how to address key issues in digital signage today. Topics will range from the fundamentals of specifying and deploying networks, to examining the way that DOOH is used with other media, to retail applications, to content considerations, to how digital signage fits with the natural and manmade environment.

The organisers have delivered a top line up that will also enable brands and agencies to benefit from the opportunity to learn more about the potential of DOOH and how it can be deployed successfully within future campaigns. Picking out some choice examples: Matthew Wilkinson from the Eye, the first OOH operator to take mobile to market with the Amplify solution last year, will consider how to truly integrate the mobile experience with digital signage for maximum effect. Julian Treasure from The Sound Agency, the UK’s leading specialist agency, will discuss how sound can be harnessed in point-of-sale, marketing and branding to increase sales, brand equity and customer satisfaction. Plus, Mark Goulthorpe of MIT and inventor of HypoSurface – the world’s first 3D content delivery system where the whole of the screen surface physically moves –

will offer a far-reaching perspective on the future of display technologies.
