Robert Cruickshank Named CTO of Rev2

 VALHALLA, N.Y., May 16, 2011 - Rev2, the leading provider of next-generation risk management solutions, today announced that Robert F. Cruickshank has joined the rapidly growing company as its first Chief Technology Officer.  Cruickshank joins Rev2 from Cablevision Systems Corp., where he was VP of the Customer Service Operations Center, spearheading deployment and use of next-generation solutions, including Rev2’s RiskView® application.

At Cablevision, Cruickshank had the pivotal role of simplifying Call Center tools with network health Go/No-Go metrics to streamline and efficiently deliver outstanding service to Cablevision’s customers.  Cruickshank forged communications among various teams including customer service, field operations, network operations and engineering.  Prior to Cablevision, Cruickshank led the development of the DOCSIS world standard cable modem at Cable Television Laboratories.  Cruickshank has had an accomplished career in the cable and telecommunications industries, with senior management positions at ARRIS, C-COR, Road Runner, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. 

At Rev2, Cruickshank will be responsible for ongoing development of Rev’s RiskView application, the evolution of the company’s technology roadmap, the day-to-day success of customer implementations, and customer communications.

A veteran of the US Air Force, Cruickshank was second in command of Lockheed C-130H Hercules cargo aircraft from 1987-1995.  He received his undergraduate and masters’ degrees in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  In addition, he completed five years of post-graduate work in Internet-based intelligent building energy conservation at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
