Fabege acquires property on Skeppsbron in Stockholm

Fabege today acquired the property Aeolus 1, in the Skeppsbron-Slottsbacken-Österlånggatan block in Gamla Stan [Old Town], for SEK 340m. The seller is Humlegården, and Fabege will be taking possession today, 15 February. The total lettable area is 6,645 m2, chiefly comprising offices. The property is totally let and in very good condition. The purchase price is equivalent to a direct yield of about 5.5 per cent. "We are very glad about being able to acquire a prime property such as Aeolus 1, in an excellent location on Skeppsbron, with the royal castle as its immediate neighbour," says Erik Paulsson, Fabege's CEO.
