North Alliance, a Nordic network of communication, design and tech agencies, is now collocating its operations in Fabege’s Apotekaren property, also known as Tulestationen, in Stockholm city centre. The green lease contract concerns approximately 3,800 sqm and extends for seven years.  North Alliance will take possession of the premises at the start of 2019.

Tulestationen is an architectural gem at Tulegatan 7–13, close to the Rådmansgatan metro station in Stockholm city centre. The building was designed by architect Ferdinand Boberg at the start of the last century. The property also includes Boberg’s famous archway from Brunkebergsverket power plant, and the portal above the main entrance (Tulegatan13) is lavishly decorated with motifs relating to electricity, such as light bulbs, batteries, bundles of cables and a very realistic generator. The main entrance will also be North Alliance’s own entrance when they move in. In the plant’s old machine room accessible from the yard, the Björn Borg fashion house now has its showroom.

-          “We’re looking forward to welcoming North Alliance, an exciting company that will bring energy and vibrancy to the property with its various departments in the fields of communication, design, technology and innovation. As well as a fantastic office, they will have neighbours such as Björn Borg AB, Aveqia – a cooking company where guests cook gourmet meals with high-profile chefs – and in particular the well-renowned restaurant Farang, with its culinary influences from Southeast Asia,” says Andreas Malmsäter, Letting Manager at Fabege.

The fact that North Alliance is expanding and wished to collocate and establish a North Alliance building that encourages interaction between employees was among the factors behind the communication agency’s decision to move. Now, work will begin on adapting the premises to reflect North Alliance’s brand and culture.

After leasing to North Alliance, there is around 5,000 sqm of lettable area left in the building, and interest in this has been great.
